DEDICATIONS

These first recordings are the signature series for Simply Worship.  They have been the backbone songs and mean much to me. The first one was played at the Ordination Service January 10, 2016. The third one was from the 2016 Concert.

SIMPLY WORSHIP DEDICATIONS

These dedications go to my daughter Melissa and Gary who not only made it possible for Gigi and me to live in Tulsa, but also welcomed us into their home.  I am so blessed indeed.  Melissa chose the first song which was part of the 2016 concert.  "Mi Amor" comes from the Song of Solomon and Melissa sang it when she was in high school. While I was playing the third song one day, Gary peeked around the corner and said how much he liked it, so it is dedicated to him.  Late in 2019, I was coming home from a service where Pastor Kim prayed for me and my feet were glued to the floor for quite a long time.  I was still in the glory as I drove home praying in the Spirit when I realized I was praying for Gary and Melissa.  As I continued praying in the Spirit, it turned into singing in the Spirit, and the next song was the result.  The song is dedicated to them and was chosen as Christmas Joy 2019

These are for my Pastors Ray snd Kim. So much to say about them.  Awesome pastors; awesome people of God.  When Barbara Fairchild came to the church for a service in March, 2013, Melissa told Gigi and me about it.  Since Gigi knew Barbara from her days in country western music, we went.  Gigi was impressed with the church and so we went again the next Sunday.  Then Pastor Ray discovered that I played the piano.  That did it!  Plus, we saw the love of God in so much operation there.  When Gigi was going through her final days, on two occasions, Pastor Kim literally fed her bite by bite.  Well, when birthdays and special occasions roll by, what else can a musician do, but honor them with what the Lord has given me.  Hence, all the dedications to them.

The very first dedication for Simply Worship occurred the first night of the Praise and Worship Seminar (see the bottom of the HOME page). In the first clip you will hear a six-note worship song, Jesus I Worship You. That song was claimed by Pastor Kim.  During that same seminar (but not on the clips on the HOME page), another song was claimed by Pastor Ray whose birthday was one week later. That is the first clip below, "Jesus, I Worship You."  The song on healing came from the 2016 Concert which was also a birthday present for Pastor Ray, and he was given the choice of one of the songs I played.  I knew beforehand that it would be the one he would choose.  Pastor Kim liked the next one and it became hers.  The rest were just gifts to honor them.   "There's a Fire in My Bones" was a fulfillment of words given to me by both Pastors Ray and Kim and Pastor Cathy.   I sang it for the church on July 4, 2019 as Fireworks for our special service.  The dedication is split for them.

Pastor Cathy is next.  I had given her a CD with some of my songs on it, and she returned with a claim on the first one below.  She has been so special.  Along with Pastors Ray and Kim, she has given me many words from the Lord.  She is a treasure.

It took me too long to realize that I had given so many songs to Pastors Ray and Kim yet had not given any to their beautiful daughters. Hence, this one for Pastors Jon and Teka and the following for Pastors LeiLona and Patrick.

Pastors LeiLona and Patrick

Our granddaughter claimed the first one below.  It was chosen for Christmas Joy 2016.  On June 16, 2018, I actually woke up singing the next one.  It was a special day, because we knew that Andrew was going to propose to her in the park, and the whole family went and hid behind the bushes until he did.  Most of the time, we go through our day as a mundane thing, not thinking anything so extra special about it.  Although Candace did think it special to be with Andrew that day, because she loved him, she never realized just how much more special it was going to be.  The song is trying to tell us that God is working behind the scenes every day to make it even more special than we realize.  This is the day the Lord has made, especially for me.  Candace wanted the Rachmaninoff to walk down the aisle on her wedding day.  Then there's another one that the Lord gave to them.

Elizabeth couldn't wait till the 2016 concert had finished and rushed to the piano and claimed this first song.  She later claimed the other one.  She likes ones about loving Jesus.  I do, too, especially when we think about how much Jesus loves us. There's a whole page of Love songs to Jesus.

The next group of songs come from our granddaughter Jillian's and Brian's wedding.  What a tremendous honor.  It was such a beautiful wedding.  There were four songs, but there are a couple of extra versions.

This one is dedicated to my awesome grandson Gary Robert. I could easily pull this up into the signature series and I probably will.  It's so beautiful that it makes me cry.  It was one of the worship songs from the 2016 concert, and GR laid his claim on it.  In fact, you will hear his sneeze at the end of the concert version to claim it.

Madeline had not picked a song to claim.  She was not at the 2016 concert when the other birthday kids had picked theirs.  So at 3:00 in the morning the day of Candace's wedding shower, Jesus gave me this song for her, which I played for her at the shower.

Marshall and Sherry Horn have already been featured on the home page, but I've included here the originial recording and another in preparation for the concert.

In October, 2019, Pat was in the hospital, literally on his deathbed in need of a miracle.  Jesus gave that miracle.  Melissa and I drove to Dallas to be with him and Ronnie.  I can't say enough how anointed that time was with them.  Every moment was Holy Spirit packed.  That first night we were there, I decided to spend the night at their house.  On the way to their house, as I was driving my car behind hers, I sang the following over and over.  I knew it was theirs.  Praise God for the miracle of healing.

Norm and Joyce, such dear friends.  It was so sad to see them go, but they had picked a song beforehand.

This is dedicated to Beth Willis and her family.  The framework (which I call "seed") came as I was playing incidental music prior to the memorial service for Beth's father.

The following was a wedding present for James and Kathlin - what a wonderful wedding and time in Dallas.

After we moved to Tulsa in 2007, I found myself singing in the Spirit in what seemed to be Indian melodies.  I am dedicating this recording to the native citizens who love Jesus not only in this area but throughout the United States.
